Battle Mountain 14-15A
- Entek Energy Limited (“Entek” or the “Company”) advises that based on the encouraging oil shows recorded while drilling Battle Mountain 14-15A in late 2009, the decision has been made to continue drilling past the original Total Depth of 7,684 feet to 7,800 feet. As part of the process of changing Operatorship, related to the planned deepening of the well, Entek has had to submit new permitting to the appropriate regulatory body. As a result, the Battle Mountain 14-15A well workover had to be suspended on July 1st, 2010.Click Here To Download

16 December 2009 ENTEK ENERGY Recovers Oil From Tthe Niobrara In BM 14-15 Well, Green River Basin
- The Battle Mountain 14-15 well has reached a depth of 7,250 feet after drilling through the highly anticipated Niobrara Formation.
- While drilling the Niobrara significant fractures were encountered and mudlog shows suggest zones of potential oil and gas pay. Oil was recovered from the mud pits along with elevated gas shows while drilling this section. The current operations are preparing to run wireline logs. Subject to confirmation of these zones as potential producing intervals, the well will be completed at this current depth. The rig will then be demobilized prior to commencing a production test over the Niobrara Formation.
- Entek tested both oil and gas from the Focus Ranch 12-1 in August this year. Focus Ranch 12-1 has tested three zones within the Niobrara and all have tested at similar rates. The well awaits tie-in to production.
- The hydrocarbon pay estimated from the mudlog in the shallow section of the Battle Mountain 14-15 well has been confirmed by preliminary wireline log interpretation. Two pay zones have been identified for follow up testing and completion in the Isles Section. The Deep Creek Sandstone also has hydrocarbon pay (as it did in the recently drilled 13-15T well). There is also a possible pay zone in the Mancos Shale section which is being further evaluated.

11 December 2009 Logging & Testing Pay In Onshore Wells In The Green River Basin
- The Battle Mountain 14-15 well has now reached its intermediate depth of 6,150’. Logging of the section down to 6,150 feet is currently underway.
- The well has encountered over 200 feet of hydrocarbon pay between 2,000’ and 2,650’, with significant oil and gas shows deeper in the section, all estimated from the mudlog.
- The 14-15 well is a follow up to the recent Robidoux 13-15T well.
- The Robidoux 13-15T well is currently being tested.
- Initial results suggest that the well will flow unstimulated from the Niobrara.
- The well encountered oil and gas shows in the Mersaverde, Deep Creek, Mancos and Niobrara Formations and sandstones below the Niobrara.
- Testing of the shallower zones will depend on the final results of the Niobrara.

8 December 2009 ENTEK Update Battle Mountain 14-15 Well, 200’ Of Hydrocarbon Pay Encountered
- The Battle Mountain 14-15 well spudded on the 28th October, 2009 and is expected to reach Total Depth around the 15th December, 2009.
- Entek is pleased to announce that the well has encountered over 200 feet of hydrocarbon pay, which has been estimated from the mudlog shows.
- The 14-15 well is a follow up to the recent Robidoux 13-15T well which is suspended for testing and completion.
- The Battle Mountain 14-15 well is currently at around 3,400 feet and drilling ahead to 6,100 feet before logging and casing this section of the well.
- In Robidoux 13-15T oil and gas shows were encountered in the Mersaverde, Deep
Creek, Mancos and Niobrara formations and sandstones below the Niobrara
Formation.

25 November 2009 ENTEK Update Robidoux 13-15T
- The Robidoux 13-15T well reached Total Depth (TD) of 7,800 feet.
- Electric logs were then run to TD and the well was suspended, awaiting further evaluation by flow testing following detailed interpretation of electric logs. A service rig will be utilized to conduct the well testing program.
- Oil and gas shows were encountered in the Niobrara Formation and a sandstone below the Niobrara Formation.
- The rig was released at midnight on November 23rd 2009 and is currently moving to
the next wellsite, Battle Mountain 14-15.

19 November 2009 ENTEK ENERGY Update on Current United States Activities
- The Robidoux 13-15T well is currently drilling out cement after logging and setting 7” casing at 6,153 feet.
- Within 24 hours the well should be drilling ahead into the Niobrara Formation, where Entek tested significant oil and gas in the Focus Ranch 12-1 well in August this year.
- In the Gulf of Mexico the MMS has declined Entek’s high bid for Galveston Block A43.
Entek was the sole bidder on this Block, which had never received a bid in prior years.

13 November 2009 Oil & Gas Shows at Robidoux 13-15T Well in Colorado
- The well has been drilled to 5,725 feet rotary table (RT) (at 3:00 AM Friday Nov 13 WST) and has penetrated geologic sections as predicted.
- Good hydrocarbon shows have been intersected in the well:
- Gas charged coals were intersected in the Mersaverde Sequence
- The Hatfield Sandstone had significant gas and oil shows
- The Deep Creek Sand appears gas charged with oil shows
- The Mancos Formation is fractured and has good gas and oil shows
- After drilling through to ~ 6,200 feet measured depth (MD), electric logs will be run over the interval 720 – 6,200 feet MD to define the hydrocarbon intervals and reservoir quality, 7 inch casing will then be run to approximately 6,200 feet MD.
- Drilling will then resume, using an under-balanced system, into the Niobrara Formation, where ENTEK tested significant oil and gas from the Focus Ranch 12-1 well in August this year.
- Testing of all pay intervals will be conducted after the well has reached its total depth (TD) around 7,700 feet MD and after log analysis is completed.
- ENTEK confirms that based on the successful results to date in the 13-15T well, the Battle Mountain 14-15 well is planned to be drilled immediately activity on the 13-15T well is completed, using the same rig and services.
