Graham Riley - Chairman (Non-Executive)
Graham Riley brings a wealth of experience to the Entek Board and has a proven record of board leadership to generate value for shareholders. Mr Riley has been responsible for the foundation and growth of a number of petroleum and mining companies and is currently Chairman of Buru Energy Limited, Gascoyne Rescources Limited and a Non Executive Director of Target Energy Limited. Mr Riley is also Chairman of Giralia Resources N.L (currently the target of a takeover bid by Atlas Iron Limited which capitalizes it in excess of $850m) a diversified mining and exploration company, and has overseen the spin out of numerous independently listed commodity-specific explorers from the extensive project book built up by the company. He is a qualified legal practitioner, having gained his Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Jurisprudence Degrees.
Trent Spry - Director & Chief Executive Officer
Apart from his geotechnical qualifications and experience obtained working directly for BHP Petroleum and Woodside Energy and as a consultant providing services to other major operators globally, Trent Spry has considerable advisory and management experience gained through management positions in consultant groups Spry Geoscience, ECL Australia/Asia and RPS Energy. Mr Spry 's broad regional experience includes the Gulf of Mexico in the USA where Entek has production and continues its exploration efforts to expand its production portfolio and reserves base. Qualifications: University of Adelaide, Bachelor of Science, Double Major Geology & Biochemistry. National Centre of Petroleum Geology & Geophysics (NCPGG), First Class Honours, 1993.
Andrew J Padman - Non-Executive Director
Mr Padman has over 32 years experience in the upstream petroleum E&P industry, new ventures, exploration and exploitation projects in S.E Asia / UK North Sea / Australia / New Zealand / Gulf Coast, USA. Geophysical technical specialist with experience in exploration strategies, portfolio management and business development.
Alexander Forcke - Non-Executive Director
Alex Forcke is a public company executive with considerable financial and commercial experience gained in over twenty years in both the resources and investment banking industries. Mr Forcke was the Executive Chairman of Adelphi Energy Limited, a successful ASX listed oil and gas explorer with US shale gas interests prior to being taken over in 2010. He was also a long standing Director of ARC Energy Limited in a commercial and financial executive role. Prior to entering the oil and gas industry, Mr Forcke had established an international career in project finance and investment banking, including the position as WA State Manager and Director of Project and Specialised Finance for AIDC Ltd. Mr Forcke has a bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
David Christian - US based Representative
David Christian has over thirty years experience in the oil and gas business. For thirty years, he was employed by Kerr-McGee Corporation and its subsidiaries. While at Kerr-McGee, he held positions at increasing levels of responsibility in the onshore, offshore and international areas of land management, business development and oil & gas marketing, culminating in his position of Vice President for Kerr-McGee Oil & Gas Corporation for worldwide land and marketing. Mr. Christian is a member of the Texas and Oklahoma Bar Associations, the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators where he served on the Board of Directors from 1997-1999 and the American Association of Professional Landmen where he served on the Outer Continental Shelf Committee from 1997-2005. He holds a B.S. in Engineering from Arizona State University and a J.D. from the University of Tulsa.
Andrew Gastevich - Company Secretary, Chief Financial Officer
Andrew Gastevich is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years experience. He worked with Ernst & Young Chartered Accounts for eight years before forming his own Chartered Accounting practice, which he operated for a further eight years. Mr Gastevich then held a senior position at Australia's largest privately owned Iron Ore Mining company, before becoming the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer for a national group involved in the provision of professional services to both business and government. Mr Gastevich obtained a Bachelor of Business from Curtin University in 1985 and completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Business at Curtin University in 1992. He is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Taxation Institute of Australia, and is a Registered Tax Agent.
