SOUTH WEST QUEENSLAND:  BLOCK A-269P

   

Entek Energy holds a 28.15% interest in Block ATP-269P with Beach Petroleum as Operator and Joint Venture partners IOR Energy and Santos Limited. The Company is currently deriving production income from the wells Coolum-1 and Byrock-2, with Marcoola-1 and possibly Warragon-1 due to commence production in coming months.

During 2007 Entek achieved success by participating in exploratory drilling, with two oil discoveries in the three well program. The considerable prospect inventory in the Block would suggest potential for further discoveries on trend with existing production and discoveries.

STATUS          
Byrock-2    
 Oil discovery producing at the rate of approximately 60 BOPD. For further information see the Company announcements:

Coolum-1    
 Well established oil production well is currently producing at the rate of approximately 15 BOPD.
Marcoola-1
