Entek Energy focuses primarily on its core areas of operation
in the Outer Continental Shelf of the Gulf of Mexico and
onshore Australia in the Cooper/Eromanga Basin.

However, management reviews new opportunities globally
and presents projects that meet the Company’s qualification criteria
to the Board for consideration.
   


The assessment process includes:

Preference for mature petroleum province, and
Ready access to and availability to support infrastructure
Appropriately worked geological and geophysical evaluation utilising regionally experienced expertise.
A thorough commerciality modeling exercise.

   

The Company’s core operation areas, the Outer Continental Shelf of the Gulf of Mexico and onshore Australia in the Cooper/Eromanga Basin:

Are mature petroleum provinces
Have access to available support infrastructure
Are worked by regionally experienced geological and geophysical expertise
Demonstrate robust commerciality.

   

This low risk strategy has proven itself over the past two years in that the Company has:

Compiled a portfolio of acreage with solid low risk prospects ready for drilling; and
Established a solid cash flow which will continue to rise through to end 2007 and beyond to provide significant revenue to support the Company’s growth plans.

   
The Company has an accelerated low-risk growth plan   
with the objective of growing its revenue and reserve base   
utilising proven strategy in the Gulf of Mexico   
shallow outer continental shelf waters.
